I’m the first to admit…

I am a serial entrepreneur, but I got it honest. The only thing I wanted when our first child was born was to stay home and watch him grow. Not knowing how to do that, I set out to figure out how I could replace my corporate income from home. Over the years I have owned a marketing agency, apparel company, subscription box, cleaning company and blog (other than this one). I have written several books, designed what is surely hundreds or even thousands of tshirts, cups, printables, and various gifts along the way.

we have always been up for new adventures…

In 2013, we packed up our entire house and moved to CA for my husbands work.  In 2018 we bought our first RV and set out on a 4k mile road trip to see the Grand Canyon, Zion, Arches, Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. It was the start of something spectacular.

and there’s more to the story….

There’s been so much in between all of that. I will share a little as this blog is built out, but what I really want to tell you is this. If you’re reading this, you most likely know that this being a Mama thing is a hard gig and in today’s world, you have to be a Mama Human. I never really understood why we had to be Mama Bears when we are just as fierce as human mothers – right?

but then the pandemic of 2020…

When the pandemic of 2020 hit, I realized that I had gotten away from what I love. And that is where this blog comes in. I love traveling with our kids and writing about it, I love sharing printables I create and tips on homeschooling on the road and talking about pregnancy and … gosh, there’s such a huge list. This website is for all of those things to come together.

reminded me to focus on what I love.

And that’s exactly what this blog is about. I love spending time with my kids, making memories and creating. I want to finish my children’s book series, create more books and continue creating printables and more for the nearly 12k people who have downloaded them over the years. (Maybe you’re here because you were a member of my oh-so-neglected email list from those printables).

If you made it this far, I appreciate you. I can’t wait to write more here on this blog.
