- 1 Cup Flour
- 1 Cup Salt
- 1 Cup of Water (But You May Use Less)
- Baking Sheet
- Parchment Paper
- Rolling Pin
- Mixing Bowl
Let’s get started with this super EASY Salt Dough Recipe, shall we?
Mix the flour and salt in a mixing bowl.
Preheat your oven. You’ll want to set it at 170.
Slowly add water to your flour / salt mix. The dough needs to have a smooth consistency, so you may not use it all.
Place parchment paper on a large baking sheet so it’s ready when your project is done.
Spread a little flour on your table or countertop so the kids can flatten out their dough without it sticking. You won’t want to use to much. Depending on how much water you added in step 3, you may or may not need to roll it out with a rolling pin. It’s fun to just use hands too!!
Bake the dough for about 3 hours. You want them to dry out nice and slow so they don’t crack or bubble.
